Hello, {exp:stash:cust_name}
We are excited to have you join us for the upcoming Electrofishing Principles and Safety training course in {exp:stash:class_venue_city} on {exp:stash:class_date}.
This email contains important information about your registration and the course itinerary. {if '{exp:stash:class_venue_city}' == 'Vancouver'}Also, travel and lodging information is included at the bottom of this message.{/if}
Please note that you will need to provide your own non-breathable chest waders (don't forget your wading boots if your waders have stocking feet) and lineman electrical gloves rated for 10KV and preferably 14 inches long. I also recommend a rain coat, water bottle, hat, and polarized sunglasses. There are several options for non-breathable waders from Cabelas (note: neoprene will work because it is non-breathable) or OS Systems. We offer lineman gloves on our website and you can also purchase them from Grainger. For your safety please make sure the gloves are at least 14 inches long and rated for 10KV. Please call me if you have questions about these items, or if you have difficulty getting them. We often see pictures of folks not wearing these critical pieces of safety equipment in the field, and the American Fisheries Society recently put out a notice that they will no longer publish any picture of someone not wearing these two pieces of equipment while electrofishing! If you have these items during the class, then we know you have them available when you return to your workplace.

Pizza lunch is provided the first day while in the class. We will go on a short tour of the facilities during the day and you will need to be wearing closed toe shoes if you would like to go into our production facility and see where our boats and backpacks are manufactured.

Please feel free to bring your own electrofishing equipment to the class. I will be glad to look over the equipment for any potential issues, help you preprogram some helpful settings, and provide you direct training on your equipment during the field day. Please email me to let me know if you intend to bring equipment.
A huge thank you to Sarah Muskopf with the Forest Service for initiating this class and organizing the arrangements. Should you have any questions about the location of the class, please feel free to contact Sarah at smuskopf@fs.fed.us.

Again, we look forward to seeing you!
